Avatar: The Way of Water movie short REVIEW and RATING

I just left the cinema and I wish I could watch this movie again. The story may not be groundbreaking as it deals with the same themes as the first film, but in my opinion it did a great job of exploring them and the characters.  Overall, it's a very moving story with great moments that will stay in my head for a while. But of course the best part of the movie is the world of Pandora. The jungle scenes were once again beautifully done, but the ocean scenes left me stunned.  The new environment and creature designs are absolutely stunning, and each creature is beautifully animated and looks so realistic in the environment, as if they and the world really existed. The difference between the forest and the sea of the Na'vi is also very interesting and there are many details such as different swimming styles! The only thing that annoys me a bit is the way they speak very little na'vi, but I guess it's done so the audience doesn't read the subtitles and take their att...

First Impressions: Marvel’s The Falcon and the Winter Soldier is comforting to watch?

Right from the opening moments of  The Falcon and the Winter Soldier  – an extended action sequence amid rock formations spearheaded by   Anthony Mackie ‘s Falcon – it’s evident that the intent of this show is to link it to the prototype of the Marvel canon we’ve come to expect.  After  WandaVision  took bold swings, this second Disney+ series is more a replication of the movies’ mentality we’d come to expect – namely early products like  Captain America  and  Iron Man . Given that this was supposed to be the first show out the gate, it makes more sense that this is more in tune with the Marvel personality – a comfortable transition from big to small screen, over the wildcard element of  WandaVision  which, admittedly, paid off in spades.  And depending on how you view it in comparison to that show,  The Falcon and the Winter Soldier  will either feel comforting in its familiarity or slightly underwhelming due ...

What time is Zack Snyder's Justice League released on HBO Max, Sky and Binge this Friday?

Zack Snyder's Justice League  is at last releasing on March 18 – and if you're reading this, you're no doubt fascinated to watch it, whether you're part of the fanbase that campaigned to have the revised four-hour film released on  HBO Max , or if you're just watching it so you can later complain about how long it is on social media.  Either way, the wait is almost over – territories like the US, UK and Australia are all going to get to see Zack Snyder's Justice League simultaneously on its release date of  March 18, 2021 . The new cut follows the same plot as 2017's theatrical release, which sees the alien warrior Steppenwolf coming to Earth in search of powerful items called Mother Boxes, while Batman and Wonder Woman attempt to form a team to stop the alien invasion and save Earth. Can they do it without Superman, who died at the end of Batman v Superman? We've seen the film and it's a largely grim affair with around two mostly dull hours of expo...

Watch BTS Brings ‘Be’ to ‘MTV Unplugged’

The pandemic has led artists to find different ways to bring their music to audiences, and for their debut appearance on the long-running “ MTV Unplugged ” series, the K-pop septet of   BTS   — RM, Jin, Suga, J-Hope, Jimin, V and Jungkook —transformed their stadium-filling showmanship into something more intimate. Opening the show inside a game room set filled with vintage arcade games and retro MTV logos, BTS  began with “ Telepathy ,” a standout from their latest album “Be,” marking the first live performance of the track. While the pandemic has forced many bandmembers to perform from separate locations or in makeshift sets and stages, all seven of the BTS members’ vocals were on full display for the performance. Also in line with “ Unplugged ” tradition, the group shared commentary and stories in between songs speaking in both English and Korean. “It’s really an honor to be part of the MTV Unplugged legacy where so many legends have performed,” BTS  leader ...
